Spiritual Planning Committee Volunteer


  • Responsible for set up/break down of Moon Magick & Sabbat rituals as scheduled.
  • Moon Magick
    • 2nd Sunday of each month 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
    • Obtain High Priest(ess) for ritual
    • Maintain schedule
    • Lead Ritual if host is not obtained
  • Write up descriptions for each ritual as far as details (Wiccan, Druid, Heathen etc) as provided by Priest/ess
  • Care for tiki torches, solar lights, and other ritual tools
    • Ensure torches and lights are laid out around circle and pathway, if needed.
    • Keeps inventory of items and reports to BOD when supplies run short
  • Make community announcements
  • Collect love donations & Submit to appropriate party for deposit towards next month or payment for current month as needed
  • Coordinate with host to ensure all needs are met regarding tables, lights, tools we have available.
  • Sabbat Rituals:
    • Develop ritual plan/ideas for Sabbats
    • Check Calendar to ensure no conflicting with other local groups
    • Seek High Priest/ess to lead ritual
    • Obtain multiple dates available
    • Determine location options
    • Present to President for approval and scheduling confirmation/payment
    • Write up descriptions for event.
  • Publicize and promote all ritual events
  • Must attend all sessions or have alternate coverage approved by Board of Directors
  • Ensure space is returned to same or better condition than upon arrival
  • Ensure fire is completely out and no chance of relight, if used.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationship with venue
  • Review host ritual briefly to ensure no laws or grounds rules are in violation (ie: no nudity, violent re-enactments, etc – get an idea of what ritual is about/description)
  • Communicate with President consistently with status updates on rituals
  • Report back after rituals within 24 hours with attendance, issues, etc.
  • Sign and Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors.
  • Believe in and contribute to the organization in fulfilling its Mission Statement
  • Refrain from any and all gossip – no bad mouthing of other events, organizations or busineses
  • All events subject to Board of Director approval and may be revoked at any time
  • Must adhere to all laws and regulations under 501c3 status
  • Must adhere to all laws and regulations for Non Profit under Florida Law
  • Must be a member in good standing
  • Reports to President

Sponsorship & Promotion Committee Volunteer
 

  • Research, contact and communicate with potential sponsors for member benefits
    • Refer any financial donations without member benefits to President.
    • Meet face to face with potential sponsors to share our Mission
    • Must be professional in all forms of communication – verbal, written, telephone, in person, etc.
  • Be familiar with all aspects of our sponsorship program and utilize materials provided by Board of Directors to obtain discounts for members
  • Obtain item donations for ritual use, prize giveaways, etc.
  • Keep accurate records of all contacts, answers, donations, etc.
  • Think outside the box and come up with ideas for promotion and partnerships with local area businesses, community organizations, etc.
    • Sales & Motivational experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Sign and Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors
  • Must have clean background with no felony charges within the last 10 years as required by Florida State Law
  • Believe in and contribute to the organization in fulfilling its Mission Statement.
  • All events subject to Board of Director approval and may be revoked at any time
  • Must adhere to all laws and regulations under 501c3 status
  • Must adhere to all laws and regulations for Non Profit under Florida Law
  • Must be a member in good standing

OPEN VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Various County Activity Committees Volunteers (Multiple Positons)


  • Available in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Hernando, Citrus, Polk, Lake, Orange, and Sumter Counties
  • All events are part of West Central Florida Pagan Alliance and must be cleared through Board of Directors
    • No financial decisions can be made by Committee Leader
    • Reports to Vice President or Director assigned to the county
  • Must reside or work in County/easily accessible
  • Must attend all sessions or have alternate coverage approved by Board of Directors
  • Events will be created as scheduled by West Central Florida Pagan Alliance and promoted
  • Promote all events sponsored by West Central Florida Pagan Alliance
  • Schedule Coffee Night “Socialization” Meet up once per month
    • Weeknights historically work out better 7 PM – 9 PM
    • Ensure good relationship with location
    • Ensure grounds are always clean and in same or better condition than when arrived
    • Maintain professional relationship with venue
  • Locate and secure location for County Witching Hour discussion group once per month
    • To be held on a weeknight not conflicting with existing WCFPA activities
    • Located in Central County area
    • Public location easily accessible
    • Weeknight 7 PM – 9 PM
    • Refer to calendar events to ensure conflict control
    • Write up monthly discussion descriptions
    • Maintain record of each month’s topic
    • Help facilitate conversation to keep it going and on topic
      • Remember this is a discussion group not a “teaching” session – no one’s answers are wrong
    • Ensure space used is left in same or better condition than upon arrival
    • Generate topics and maintain pool of topics for random choosing each month
  • Communicate attendance, issues, and status of event each month to Vice President
  • Promote West Central Florida Pagan Alliance and their mission within the County Area
  • Promote membership and participation in all events
  • Support all organizations, groups and business that are within or supportive of the Pagan Community
  • Remain Professional at all times
  • Refrain from any gossip, confrontations, arguments and politely end any such activities by attendees
  • All events subject to Board of Director approval and may be revoked at any time
  • Must adhere to all laws and regulations under 501c3 status
  • Must adhere to all laws and regulations for Non Profit under Florida Law
  • Listen and bring feedback from members for further events, groups, etc.
  • Seek out locations within the county for various events such as classes, rituals, etc.
  • Sign and Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors
  • Believe in and contribute to the organization in fulfilling its Mission Statement
  • Must be a member in good standing
